Here is a full rundown of every pass play that Tyler Thigpen was involved in this past Saturday against the Texans. I think it speaks for itself.
1st play- 2nd and 14- Drop back conventional pass- KNOCKED DOWN
2nd play- 3rd and 14-Shotgun… Immediately runs,almost sacked, throws while running, pass tipped and caught for 6 yards.
3rd play- 1st and 10- Drop back, quick hitch, complete for 6 yards
4th play- 2nd and 4- Shotgun, immediately starts running, never looks down field, gets first down
5th play- 1st and 10- Shotgun, drop back, dump off pass way overthrown, almost intercepted
6th play- 2nd and 10- Shotgun, immediately runs, throws off his back foot across his body to sideline, nice catch and run upfield by Rodney Wright for a first down
7th play- 1st and 10- Shotgun, immediately runs, gets a first down, late hit out of bounds
8th play- 2nd and Goal from the 4- Shotgun, quick hitch thrown off back foot for negative yards
9th play- 3rd and Goal from the 5- Shotgun, drops back, pass batted down, BS Pass Interference gets ball to goal line
10th play- 1st and Goal from the 1- Drops back, starts scrambling… throws blind across his body to Cottam for Touchdown!
11th play- 1st and 10- Shotgun, Drop back pass, tipped at the line, caught for 1 yard
12th play- 2nd and 9- Shotgun, drops back, dumped off, caught for 4 yards
13th play- 3rd and 5- Shotgun, drops back, pass knocked down
14th play- 1st and 10- Shotgun, drops back, pass tipped and almost picked
15th play- 2nd and 10- Shotgun, drops back, immediately runs, picks up 9 yards
16th play- 2nd and 10- Shotgun, Drops back, immediately runs, tries just ridiculous impromptu handoff that almost resulted in a turnover, Chiefs ball
17th play- 3rd and 21- Shotgun, drops back, immediately runs, throws just a complete jump ball to middle of field, tipped and should have been picked
18th play- 4th and 21- Shotgun, drops back, immediately runs, throws pass that could have had Savage killed, and is picked off to end the game.

As much as I like Thigpen I think you are right about him not making the final cut. He reminds me of Steve Fuller who was a much better athlete than Bill Kenney.
hey nick thigpen did great out there. but if his arm doesn't come into play he will be come. if i'm correct he was the only qb with a touchdown.
